Go to a UPS store and have them pack it and ship it. They guarantee anything they pack. At the same time you can have the return weigh bills put in the packages.
No I don't work for UPS.

I'm going to assume you mean '03 XB9R. haha

I think it depends on any other mods you have. I would say with a pipe, K&N, and airbox mod, it is mandatory. You might be able to not remap with ONLY a pipe as some do with Drummer, Spec O.P.S., or Voodoo?

Randy & Bruno are working on custom maps that work with Hawk Pipes. In the meantime you could just use a Buell race map (which they can provide to you).[up][up]

I'm considering sending him my muffler this week since my bike won't be insured for the next two weeks and was wondering what shipper people have found to be the cheapest? Fedex? USPS? UPS? DHL?

With 500 people having sent Randy their mufflers, somebody must have come up with the cheapest way to get it there and back by now...

I would recommend insuring it whatever way you go. Mine showed up with a bent tip (that I was luckily able to straighten). I think Randy prefers UPS...I would ask him.

ya insure it for a large sum especially if your sending pipe tail and ecm my box is a snug fit and i wrapped pipe in bubble wrap and put a bunch of those huge air bags in it haha then i wrote this side up and fragil all over it. I will raise hell if something happens[mad]

Spoke with randy two weeks ago and hate to let this thread slide. I talked to him from Iraq, and he was pleasant and intelligent, and sometime around the first of the new year my dealership will send him my pipe for me!
