no Havent done a TPS reset.. battery did was just dead on Friday though. if that has anything to do with it

I love my Hawk. Set off the alarm on my wife's Cherokee again. She thought I hit it. "Nope. Just the vibration."
 
08+ bikes have timing maps that resemble the previous year's race data.

In otherwords the 08+ models have race ecms in the upper RPM range. Above ~4k.

That's why it's ok to run the original ecm with the hawk pipes on newer bikes.

Where did you get this info?
 
you can find the maps anywhere....then its just a matter of comparing them.




but ECM bases are not only in the maps (timing OR fuel)

the full race program varies quite a bit from the stock even not considering the fuel and timing maps.

Race, K&N, Hawk its just the combo i was looking for less than 300 and i cant believe the power now! 1 hell of a job Randy![up]:D
 
Fishgutz, Yes on the K&N, The pipe is great, i wish it would stop raining here so i could really twist the throttle. Italy SUCKS! I miss san diego.
 
But traffic sucks in San Diego.
Try to get to some of the roads James Bond has driven in Italy.

I am looking forward to a drive through a parking garage. Trip all the motion sensors with the tone.
 
Okay youll heres the rundown, called Randy earlier today and he told me he doesnt have a pipe just yet for the 1125s because he doesnt have a pipe to practice on. i just got my HR1 in two days ago so im gona contribute to the nation by sending the pipe off friday when i get paid. He said hed get to work on it asap so all the 1125 guys out there lookout, he'll have a new exhaust out soon.
 
man i cant wait randy gets this 1125 pipe going around plus the xb's all he needs to top it off is a dyno to put actual numbers behind it[smirk] Not just his overly happy customers. Cant wait to get back on mine over spring break!

Way to go Paul your gunna be the 1st happy 1125 hawk owner!
 
yea i can't wait to see what he does. I'm not gona actually get it back cuz i already got the HR1(i would have gotten one of his had there been one), he said once he got the design down hed hang it on the wall with his first pipe he made for the xb. hes always helping us out so this is the very least i can do. be sure and spread the word, the more people that know the better [up][up]
 
Wow, that would be great! I have been dreaming about a drummer for awhile, but they are so much money. If I could get that deep thump with some more torque for my 1125R from a Hawk that would be awesome!
 
Paul - Great donation to the Buell community!

I hope to get my Hawk pipe from the UPS chick today. I have read all great reviews on this pipe, and I am really excited get it. Hawk has been great to work with and has answered a ton of "Buell questions" over the phone. Hawk said he mailed it Monday, so while I was waiting I did the breather reroute, the airbox mod, and the headlight mod, built the ecmspy cable, and did an oil change. As for the Drummer, I had one, it was great, it was loud, Kevin was great over the phone but I was forced to sell it, and I cannot bring myself to spend another $500 on a pipe.
