I too just got off the phone with Randy, WOW what a helluva nice guy, sent him a message with some questions pertaining to BamBam and enjoyed a 25 minute conversation with one of the nicest, most knowledgable Buellers I have had the pleasure of talking with.
Going to order a cable for some mapping and Randy is going to hook me up with Bruno [up]

:)

Just got my new Hawk installed. Holy balls its loud. I haven't really got to ride it yet, but the idle sure has acoustic presence. I'm sure it won't take me long to love it, but at the moment the difference is a bit of a shock.

Takes a bit of getting used to after riding with the stock unit but after a few rides it grows on you.

I actually find that if you ride with a full face helmet, with the shield down the noise from the exhaust resonates within my helmet! My ears have been ringing for days! LOVE IT.

Update: I got bored at work and talked to Randy a few min ago and he said he should have the 1125 pipe done by this weekend hopefully. He said he was waiting on Bruno to get back for something and that he was pretty excited about the pipe. He said it was gona look somewhat like the XB pipe but a little different. So you guys are a little bit closer to having it.

seems like you guys are very close to having a Hawk of your own[up]
:)

The video doesn't work for me. It says that it's private, and you have to accept a friend request from the poster.

My video? Sorry its my first video upload. Check again here soon and let me know if it still doesn't work.

Just set it for public viewing...so hopefully it will work alright.

Dallas, don't you just love the difference?
I think I will need ear plugs.
My ears have been ringing since 1982 when I went shooting one time without ear plugs. So I don't know if I have new ringing.

Yes I grin every time I get on the bike, not that I didn't do that in the first place [smirk]. I love it when the neighbor comes over wanting to know where he can get a bike like I have.

I'm starting to appreciate the growl of the Hawk a bit more, but now I'm more focused on my own opinion rather than the opinion of the old lady shaking her elderly fist at me in the Publix parking lot.

Randy, thought you would like this. Once I get my exhaust back I will get a better one. I'll try to set it up outside and beside it.

Might make a good advertisement. Hawk Performance exhaust beside a U.S. ARMY Blackhawk. LOL

Okay I'm going to jump on the Hawk bandwagon too. I'm brand new to the forum and this is my first post. This forum led me to look into the Hawk Performance muffler when I was all but convinced to go with the Drummer. I contacted him and was promptly convinced to go with the Hawk. Like others on this thread have said, he is the nicest guy and seems to be doing what he does because he loves it. I was amazed with his sincerity and willingness to help. My muffler was shipped out and back at my doorstep 1 week to the day (and it only took that long due to shipping). He had the work done in less than 24 hours. I just got the muffler on today (along with a new K&N air filter and a race ECM that was already on the bike) and it sounds fantastic. I was a little surprised at first at how loud it was but I was inside my garage when I first fired it up (blew an empty water jug off a top shelf when I did) but out in the open it sounds tough. It is still a little louder than I was initially expecting but I am very satisfied with it. Got to take it for a little spin and it runs great (got a lot of looks too). Like several have said...anyone on the fence about going this route? You wont be disappointed.
