Wife bought me a awesome gift but I am really wanting a vtwin. This bike is very fast with upgrades but im not about speed. Just sound and looks. I just like to putt to work and back. I will do all the leg work since this is my idea. Im in niles Michigan about 10 minutes north of south bend Indiana. If anyone knows of any way we can work something out with equal value bikes that would be awesome guys. Thanks!

I used to own one of these before my buell and loved it to death! At first glace I thought the price was high, but ur bikes super clean, and plastics look awesome. Price isn't bad including the gear. Just my 2 cents, so free bump for u my friend.

yeah somebody offered me a LOADED rock crawler jeep which i COULD sell for more money.... if i found the right person, problem is things are not selling all that well in the wonderful economy. SO i would rather be stuck with something i could enjoy while trying to sell it rather than having a beautiful hood ornament in my garage....

plus a 2005 beull might be easier to sell faster than a 96 cbr. even though the value is the same.... thanks for the criticism though

You'd probably get more interest if you were more of a straight shooter. The whole "wife bought me a gift, but I don't like it, but I have to sell to fund medical bills, but I'll accept trades, but someone offered me something that was worth way more, but I'll take a Buell instead" is kind of sketchy.

If the wife gift thing is true, and you're looking to flip for a different bike, then you better enjoy that dog house you're about to be in. My wife would nail me to a fuckin' wall for that.

well maybe your wife sucks.... she won $$ at a casino in december and bought this bike cheap for $1300 because it needed some work which i am capable of doing. in february my 3 year old had a massive seizer which put us in a tight spot... didnt know i needed to give my life bio to post on this dead forum.... typical harley folks here huh? ill go back to the honda and kawi forums where riders are riders...

I'm really not trying to critique your life. I'm just saying that the story, whether it's true or not, sounds pretty bogus. It's just a harmless suggestion for you to rethink the narrative, so that when you have an interested buyer you don't come across as being shifty. You can do what you like. I was only trying to improve your experience.

Buellers can sometimes be a very tough crowd to impress. Your story does sound a bit strange, but who am I to judge. You are correct that Buells are no longer made and that is the exact reason we are protective of them. Most on here would not let go of there baby even at twice the book value. Also.....Compairing us to Harley riders is a big no no. We are a very diffrent breed. Most HD owners despise us..... Your bike is very nice, but it is older. Coming on a forum and telling people their bike is only compairable to somthing 5-6 years older at a very minimum is a big slap in the face. Especially since the XB series is one of the most evolutonary bikes in the last decade. I aplaud you in trying to come over to the darkside, but its not for everyone....lol. Also this forum is most active and informative forum I have ever been on hands down across any brand of vehicle. I say cool down a bit and try to sell your bike on one of the many outlets avalible on the net or local to you. We always welcome new Buellers and members in genral.....We have a wide selection of member that are not even Buell riders/owners. I urge you to stay and hang around to learn all there is to know about the magnificent machines. GLW your sale and welcome aboard.
