I went to a gun show today to buy ammo... Would have left with an ar if it wasn't taking so long to run back ground checks! It's paid for but I can't pick it up for a couple days... Sniff sniff.

Lot of people buying guns today... Hmmmm.

Never heard of SSA before but the price was right and it has all magpul furniture.

Took my B6 to my conceal class today, after firing maybe 75 rounds through the new (and new to me) pistol, this was my range test, 5 shots from 3,5,7,10, and 15 yards:

Made a purchase on a Springfield 1911. 4 inch with crimson trace laser grips and full length guide rod

I'm really thinking about picking up an XDS... but I'm a little wary of a subcompact .45 with a polymer frame. Anybody fired one?

Yep, it's too small for me. A buddy bought one and we went to the local range to plink a little with it and I took my XDm .40 along. The XDs shoots fine, it's just little. He wanted to take mine home instead of his. If you're serious about getting one, go to a range that rents them and shoot one first. 5 shots is all you get out of the magazine, +1 in the chamber. I guess I like having the extra capacity (16+1) of the 3.8" XDm, I'd much rather carry it even though it's harder to conceal.

^ wow only 5 shots... Ya I like my 13+1. Just added another new member to my clan, Mossberg 500 20ga pump. Picked it up for my wife to learn with and have around the house for when I'm out and about. Started life today as a 26" version, she's now an 18.5" Here's the whole gang:

Planning on changing the stock to an adjustable/folding version and swap out the foregrip. Going to refinish the barrel on it and maybe add some optics or something

Gun Show here in MI today was selling Bushmaster AR's for $1800, STRIPPED lowers for $500, and PMAGs for $60!

Price gouging to the max.

WOW that is insane!!! I looked at the prices for my "new" shotgun on there and couldn't believe what some people were asking. I picked it up for $150, I saw some for $300-$400...used!! On a side note....opinions:

I would rather put a tactical setup on it but my wife wants to keep it the way it is, says it feels more comfortable to her (I did TECHNICALLY get it for her). Or should I just leave the wood hardware alone

My buddy bought 3 extra lowers for an AR just before the CT thing happened. He paid 150 a piece and now he said he's found the same ones on eBay for 1200 bucks or something.

I have been looking for Pmags everywhere and not about to pay the $60 most people are asking... walked into my local gun shop this morning (2 miles form the house)... and he had 5 black pmags hanging on the wall for sale for $19 each... so i bought them all

I need a BCG but they are sold out everywhere and people welling them are asking 3X the price. I just bought a LPK for almost double the price... but oh well... lol

If you want more PMAGs, Brownells has them on back order. I was told if you order them, you will get them. A ten pack is $125 or $155 depending on which ones you get. They were also offering free shipping.

I have enough to give out as wedding, xmas, or birthday gifts! Figure I will hold on to mine in-case my buddies who want some but yet to have an AR can't get them.
