Hello everyone,
I am from Freindly Manitoba, I am a very entusiastic 52 year old motorcyclist. I just purchased my first intoxicating 1125CR. No, I am not going through my second childhood,... did that a few years ago with Ninjas and GSXRs...I may be picking your brains for info and insights as well as your knowledge....I do love the clubman bars....

Welcome to the forum and the greatest things on two wheels! That 1125 motor is a beast. I have the 1125R myself, loving every mile. What year model did you pick up?

Thanks Guys, Heres a pic of my 2009 1125CR shortly after I brought it home 2 weeks ago. Have put on about 2000 fun Kms. since.
Also a few of my fast bikes from my collection , all first year in-line four litre pure sport bikes....
And my big Limited...

The Buell even looks fast standing still....

No problems on the stator....Yet.[confused]
With the cool fall weather here, the operating temp has been very low, so no heat problems yet. The previous owner however did replace the ECM with another stock unit... covered under warranty.
Contacted HD about the harness advisory, its on my dime now.. I'll pick one up over the winter and put it on before the weather warms up...
what are you 1125 guys running for oil???

Welcome to the forum, it is almost as addicting as riding the beasts! If you need any info the guys on here are great about helping out, and quickly. Have Fun!!!!

Contacted HD about the harness advisory

Just my opinion, that is not a fix for the stator problem. If the wires aren't cooked yet and is putting out 45+ volts ac on each yellow wire, I'd get the rotor mod from EBR and skip the other "fixes".

Amsoil 20w50 works well here, temps hit 100+ in the summer though.

This is the first I have heard of " the fix "....... right on , this is why I joined...so to my understanding, ..oill is feed to the stator through a new machined port to keep it cooler.... it has the EBR tag on it, makes me feel a bit more confident in my purchase of the 1125 now..
HD is like water taps, starts off very cold and may warm up, depending on which one you turn on....
Can't complain much about HD service latey,.... they have been great in the past 12 years....but didn't appreciate what they did to the original softtail guy back in the 80s...never mind me though, getting abit touchy in my older age.
And I also love my Geezer Glide, the 2011 Ultra Classic Limited.

The UCL goes alright...... 103ci with a Sreaming Eagle Harley Registered, Installed and 7 year warranty of a full Stage II, About 100 horses and similiar torque....
But the hp to weight ratio sucks...

put my ebr rotor on about 5 k ago no problems since b 4 the rotor i went thru 2 stators in under 4k nice bike welcome to the forum

So how does it work with the exchange? I send the $425 and EBR sends me the machined rotor... I send my original back, they check it out and if it passes, they send me back $250....
. and in the end it only costs $175 and ,$17.75 for the nut and the cost of the installation?
Or am I misunderstanding this?
