I am 25 now, and learned to ride dirtbikes at age 14 with a couple of highschool buddies. Later bought a junk bucket '82 Yamaha YZ-125 at 16 for my first bike. Got my first street bike at 23, a stripped '86 Honda CB700SC(Nighthawk). Recently got rid of that and my second bike, a DOHC CB750, and bought my '03 XB9S.

I am 54 now, and have been riding since I was fourteen, first bike was a yamaha then a suzuki followed by a honda, now ride an xb9r.

I might have most of you beat, after not riding for 25 years I bought first a Vulcan 750 to relearn on. (and still have) Then 7 monthes later a 2009 lightning xb12 Ss. I'm 55 and lovin it.

Warlock, watch out for the cagers! Don't want to scare you but I'm sure you know you will go down sometime.

I had my first brand new harley at 17 then the next year i traded for a bigger one and at 19 i just bought a brand new 09 cr i love it

I'm 31, XB12R, I've had a grip load of bikes, starting with a honda 50cc at 5 years old....It's my dad's fault. :)

I'm 25 now been riding since I was 16 had an 83 GPz 750 for my first bike then upgraded to an 06 GSXR-750 after my first deployment. Got out of the military and traded my bike for a stroller and a carseat lol:D. Have been very interested in Buell's for years so after hearing about the bad news of Buell closing I bought my dream bike 09 xb12ss!

well now i am really feeling old! 55 and and do not want to be here if i cant ride ! my kids keep asking me when are you going to grow up.just got a xb12scg and love it ! and i do not ever want to grow up if it means not riding

I bought my '09 XB12Scg first part of March and turned 45 the last part of April (mid-life crisis[confused].....fawkit who cares:D).
I haven't riden to any great extent since my dirt days (in my early teens) but having the obsesive desire to keep my new baby just as pretty as the day I got it has me being more than a little careful as I hone my riding skills....
Gawd I love this bike!!!!!!

I went to go see my family over christmas and on their fridge they had a picture of a distant great aunt. . . She had on a Shift textile jacket and a Skulled up helmet mounted on a Lightning. It was a picture from her 87th Birthday. . . . I was like hey thats my bike?!?!?!?! and my old man went to town on me for riding a grannies bike. . . [sad]

Found out later it was a gag photo the bike belonged to her great nephew who is mid twenties. I tell you what though I didn't hear the end of it for the weekend.

30 here........been riding dirt bikes since i was 5, this is my 1st street bike ive owned 04 XB12R. I worked in a yahaha dealer during highschool so i got to test ride alot of street bikes........owner even let me take a few used ones home on weekends......just to give them a good testing and make sure they didnt need anything major fixed before they sold.:D

I was finally deemed responsible enough to buy a motorcycle when I was 35. That is when I bought my 2007 XB12Scg. I am now 38 and have loved every mile.
