    just finished a 1600 mile ride in OR and NO Cali on the sporty. 35K on her and narry a hick-up. (knocking on wood) I now it's not a Buell but damn is she fun to ride! think I may look for another HD. just can't stomach the Japanese bikes. thanks for all the replies! steve

    I get it. I have 2 Sportsters (on the west coast) and had 2 Buells on the east coast. I realize that they're low maintenance, compared with others, and you can easily work on 'em (long as you have time/energy). BUT that said what bugged me was all of the things that can and do go out on you...

    both mine LOVE the 100% stuff. research your area and find who has it. totally worth it! we store ours over the winter with the 100% stuff and stabil treatment. never even a fart after 4-6 months storage. steve

    What tires do you have?

    angels on the wife's ss. only a couple grand miles on 'em and they're pretty sweet. I have some Conti-motions on the SST (new to me). jury's still out. they seem ok and I see alot of good reviews, especially for the wear vs $$ vs grip aspect. They look about 1/2 worn. we'll see steve

    I am confused with the assortment of bearings available. need 'em for a 07 XB12 stt and a 07 XB12ss. both front and back. prolly should do the spacer bar as well? halp! ebay's got em for $12 and ASB has em for nearly $40. TIA steve
