    What tires do you have?

I ride with Bridgestone BT014 on my XB12s. I changed these as soon as I could from the shitty Dunlops which came as standard on it. The rear is a 180/55. the 55 gives a quicker turn in. It all depends on riding style, these are a fairly sticky tyre and hold well riding on twisty roads as I do in...

    powder coating wheels? Has anyone?

I went from Translucent Amber to candy red on my XB12s. A good move I think as the new powdercoat seems a lot better quality than original:)

anyone else with this electrical problem?

I recently had a similar problem. I was out on a ride when my XB12s started to splutter and eventually came to a halt. I tried to start it again but to no avail. I looked at it at the side of the road but could not find the problem. After getting home(just), after bumping it, I had the bike in...

    DIY Belt Guard

1stxb9r-nice guard, have you thought about anodizing it to match the wheels? I dont want it to stand out too much thats why I am painting it black. I got my heel guards done in the same candy red powdercoat and think any more red would be OTT. Thanks for the comments. I know the guard is not...

    DIY Belt Guard

I want it to blend in thats why I am going to paint it satin black. I have been riding without one for a while as I dont like the ugly original plastic one. but feel I should have something there for protection.

    DIY Belt Guard

I have seen the Rizoma belt guard and liked the way it looks, but I think they are pricey for what is essentially a piece of bent ally. So I decided to try and make one myself. Firstly I made a mock up out of cardboard to get the shape right and the position of the mounting holes. I used plastic...

    Custom See-Thru Timing Covers!

I already have this timing cover fitted. I was looking at the idea of cutting a hole in the original front pulley cover and fitting the billet circle pictured below with a clear window to show the pulley behind. But now I have seen these covers I am going to order one and fit this to the...

    Favorite Bike on this forum

Agreed xtreme,I was just saying ANY bike can look great to someone. I wasnt suggesting keppi did do all the work just saying that most people cant. I have very little money in my bike too, I buy used parts or improvise. The change of colour on the wheels cost just £85 and in my opinion...

    Favorite Bike on this forum

The ones with the red wheels and black powdercoated seat rails are the most recent. The original amber wheels were ready for redoing and it took me ages to decide to change colour.

    Favorite Bike on this forum

I think some points should be taken into account when choosing a "best bike". Budget, know how, expertise and facilities are just a few. Keppis is my favourite but has had a lot of time, money and specialist work done on it, which is of course needed to make a showwinner. However I think a...

    BLACK CHROME

It doesnt add weight, the parts are stripped bare and then it is just a two part powdercoat process. Just the same as painting.

Finaly got my graphics (Matter decals)

Youre right Buddha. The hugger is just sitting on the tyre in the photo. It does sit further back when fitted. Its a carbon fibre one made by Ilmberger. I didnt like the longer look and reverted back to the original.
