    What the fork?!

    I just moved from San Diego to Stanwood Washington (North of Everett) with my XB12R and up here I have very little parts sopport (close by). My fork seal went out after about 34K miles. Question is what fork seal do I need for a 2009 XB12R?

    Nearly 35K on my XB12R and NOTHING has ever broke or gone wrong. I think I'll kick it over just so I have something to fix. Curse you Erik for building a good bike!

    Who bought their buell brand new?

    Got mine new at Sweet Water Harley in San Diego in 2009 and the bike has never been back after almost 27K miles. (other than to buy inspection cover gaskets).

    Buell Vs. Deer

    I did the same thing on my Triumph! I was wearing gear though so no road rash but still broke my right hand and the bike is a loss.

    What's your MPG?

    48 on hwy going about 90 mph from San Diego to Fresno. After a fill up I went 179.9 miles and when I filled up I put in 3.7 gallons. Close call with a 3.8 gallon tank!

    Buell & Motor Cyclist

    So I received the September 2012 Special Collector's Issue of Motor Cyclist and notice on page 12 Allstate bought a page and the bike in the advertisment is a 1125R and on page 25 Lucas Oil is using a XB12S. Just an observation.

    Funny you should post that. My very first bike was a Suzuki SV650 and guess what I put on it? A Buell X1 flyscreen. I have some paper photos of it I will scan and post because it looked pretty good after I color matched it.
