    Rough idle and poor running

Might want to check your Intake seals to see if you have a leak. That's what I'd be looking at next.

    Seen xb9sx in NYC

There's a few buells in NYC. I've seen more last year than before, I've seen more Uly's and X1's than other models, I think.

NY, NJ, CT, PA Buell Service

You can try The HD dealer on Northern Blvd, in Long Island City. I used to get parts from there. They changed out my rubber once. I did/do most of my service myself though. They didn't have race stands though so be be sure to mention it if you have a pipe without the internal supports. Frankie...

    Rough idle problem

Ride it and give the ecm a chance to learn / adjust. Once I reset the TPS, mine will always ride smoother after some crank time on the highway.

    Range Rover Runs Over Bikers

These spontaneous rides pop up all the the time in NYC. No offense to anyone in or associated with these people. Some people just want to ride in the company of other riders. Others are just squids that like protection for their stupidity by riding in numbers. Some of them mess with cagers...

    Windshield Chop???

I'd use masking tape (the good green painters one) to mark the line. Mask it off below the line. Layer the tape on top itself 2 or 3 times over so you have a guide. Then I'd use one of these Plastic/ acrylic knives with light pressure to start drawing across the edge of the tape line. after a...

Taxi kicked me off the bike

In a lot of countries where uninsured drivers are overlooked, frontier justice is also.. Just sayin'

    Air Filter Help

I'd say at least flash the race map to the stock ecm, Its not a custom tune, but It'll get you closer to where you need to be. You can check the ECM to be sure is the stock one. Its under your front fairing. The race ones will say "for race use only." Its its stock, you can buy the race ecm or...

2010 xb12s tuning help, anyone in NY tri state area?!

My bikes on stands now pending some rear brakes but I still have the spy cable and a laptop you can borrow to burn the maps. I'm a little out of practice on burning maps. I'm just over the border in queens, how far out are you on the island?

    Starting Issue

Did you check the plugs and plug wires? I remembering my bike turning over noticeably faster after I switched to NGKs.

    Riding Technique/Styles

I agree with legs tight against the tank, pushing into the tank on turns; balls of your feet on the pegs; Keep the Abs/core tight and let them hold up the upper half of the body. My shoulders should be capable of moving independently of my waist and my arms coiled but loose. I keep my chin...

    HD VRSCF V-ROD MUSCLE

I went with 2012 Vic highball. I loved it because for a cruiser, its aggressive but still pretty nimble. I got hit by some dip$hit back in September as I was changing lanes. (Took out my shifter, peg, linkage, and sheared the shifter lever bolt off the primary. Bike whipped around pinning my leg...

    Airing out my a$$ end

Diggin' It... Its different. I like the cut on the tail plastic. Maybe a red shark fin shaped metal piece under the front part of the seat that flows into the top bar of the subframe... just to give it more of a streamlined look. Nice, though. Oh and maybe extend the red to the fairing stay...

    Isle of Man videos

I catch it every year. I get bored with Gp and the Superbike (aside from rooting for EBR). All the roadside objects makes everything seem even faster. The fact that its a time trial is probably the reason its not as popular as it should be. There aren't many battles. The crashes can be...

    Halloween

Best Halloween ever... was when My friend handed out candy and i stood behind the screen door dressed as leatherface with a sledge hammer and demilitarized chainsaw (took the chain off for safety)...When the disbelievers and brave kids shrugged of the sledge.. i started up the saw and rushed...

LOOK what this guy did to me!!!

Truck probably had a rear facing license plate cams or one of those proximity beeping systems down low. That would explain the scratch from the tow hitch (its further out that most extended stock point on the car) and was reading or filming that a part on the your bike without accounting for...

    Primary Cover Repair

I'm sure it can be welded. The problem will be getting the area free of oil and contamination. I think he'll need to purge it with gas. Its aluminum, I believe so it should be able to be welded under the right conditions. A few guys have tried to JB weld theirs as a temporary solution...Just my...

Sounds Good, Saftie. Thanks..Minor soreness, I'll live. I managed to keep it upright, but he took out my Shifter, peg, linkage and sheared the shifter lever off.

First impression! Question and buellers in queens, ny?

Hey Saftie, I'm in Queens (South Richmond Hill - 5 blocks off the Van Wyck's Liberty avenue exit.) I'll be back on my Buell exclusively for a while, I think. I got swiped on my way home from work riding my other bike on Friday. When I'm around, my garage space and tools are available to other...
