Anyone done an Iron Butt ride?

Yep, Fayetteville, NC to about Oklahoma City, OK, XB-12R, in the rain. I was a bit sore afterwards :)

long distance riding on my xb12r?

It's really not too bad. I'm 6', 205 lbs and do just fine. A couple ibuprofen and stopping to stretch will do wonders. BTW, I've done the Iron Butt on my XB12R, in the rain - a bit stiff after the ride, but that's it.

    Front Wheel Removal

Thanks for all the advise. Unfortunately, it was too stuck, so I ended up taking the forks off with the wheel still attached and then taking it apart - not a big deal, I am rebuilding the forks anyway. And I will be sure to grease the axle when it all goes back together. Again, thanks.

    Front Wheel Removal

As I am trying to remove my front wheel, it seems that the axle is stuck to the bearings - the axle moves freely within the fork tubes, but the wheel will not allow it to slide out. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

    Firebolt 12000K Xenons installed

I did this a while back, and it was straight plug-and-play. They only wickering I had to do was to find someplace to mount the ballast. Well worth the effort.
