Kick ass...you could rock those with the pink nipple suit :p. How did you run the wiring for over 200 lights [confused] must have been hard to hide them all.

Hey Jobe - just as an FYI - putting a bigger battery in because you want to have more lighting is only going to be a temporary solution. You have to remember where the battery gets it's charge from. The stock generator will not be able to keep up, leaving you with a dead battery eventually (I guess you *could* slap it on the charger every night), and you generator/voltage regulator probably isn't going to like you very much and let out some smoke.

SO....Washed my bike today. I got to Napa and parked my bike Neutral. (at least I thought) Came outside after shopping. Put key in standing up to warm up bike while I put my gear on. ****** ****! It jerked forward!!! it was still in gear but N light was on??? Tiped over left. Shattered front signal, peg, and bent shift control arm. :(

I think because I washed my bike the water made the neutral light more sensitive and it was just a hair in gear. 4 months ago danm ****** kickstand fall over now this.

Getting 2 in. lowered pegs, straighted shifter, and have replacement but not exact match led signal [down]

****** day once again.

Sorry to hear that Jobe [down]

For what it's worth, if I ever have a doubt, I get on the bike and let the clutch out with the brake on. I've heard of this happening on the Buells, so I don't really rely on the neutral light.

jsut out of interest... you bike looks like it was a 03 build? is that right? if so, has the sidestand got the spring load set up? ie that it can move past its open stand point and comes back? hard to try and explain, but it was a problem with the original xbs where the side stand just click from a clsoed to open position. when idling they would move around and fall over... jsut wondering which stand you have and if that may have been the issue.

on the exhaust led topic: years ago I saw this at autozone and it was a ring of leds that were made specifically for this application

I'm almost positive that your bike saying its in N when its not is directly related to the cold weather. I know you live in wisconsin as well as me and it couldnt be that much warmer where you're at than it is here. I dunno, i've been wrong before. Like the first 15 years of my life calling hub caps "huff caps".

@Kyle re: Exhaust lights I've seen those too - actually I think there is a muffler manufacturer (some garbage company) that has the LEDs in the tips already installed. Personally I wouldn't do it.

now that you have a slightly open belt cover, try to not to aim the spray in the electrics forward of the pulley, i've noticed my n light will be on all the time if i spray that area too much.

as far as pegs go i got a couple 1 inch drops that i need to replace with stock pegs. if your interested.

I ordered 2 in lowered. I needed more legroom any way with the chopped seat. My buddie would probably like to trade you tho. pm me some more info.
