Help Support Buellxb Forum:

I got that Idea from Davexb. It was very easy to install. I did have to use a stronger double sided adhesive tho. The lights were only $7.99 for both on e-bay. Next to come are scrolling red led's in my big air box scoop. Knight Rider style! I also want to put strobes in my primary cover but I am scared to many led's will drain my battery. I cant even count how many I have now. Im going for a world record. LOL!

LED's don't draw **** for current, so go nuts with them if that's what you want to do. Just informing that you can do more, not necessarily encouraging lol.

~Mike....;)

I guess I will find out for sure this season. I am doing the strobes and the scanning red led. Should look pretty interesting at night. UFO like.

Also... %90 sure I am doing a 240 rear tire and chain drive. Cant anybody reccomend a good wheel widening company? I have heard rumors about a good company in Wisconsin. No names tho or specifics tho. I tried google but no luck yet.

Extremes polished rotor going out today for a walk to Michigan.

Well...My satin gloss coats didnt work out so well. I had to add a chemical to my clear coat to get that dull finish. Appatantly adding the chemical made the clearcoat less durable. (I noticed slight bubbling from riding on salty roads in 2 days only.)

So...Shinely clear coat its is unless someone knows how to spray satin clear flat and still be durable. My results looked good. But you could never ride on a salty road ever. [confused]

Gloss Lacquer to Satin Lacquer Finish

Most lacquers use a flattening paste to adjust the sheen. After you spray your pcs you might have to wait up to two weeks before the final sheen is obtained. This happens because as the lacquer cures the film thickness becomes thinner. As it becomes thinner the flattening paste particles get closer together and cause more pronounced light scattering properties. If this is a job for yourself or not a rush job, wait a few days to see if it glares down.

Lacquer (banned in the u.s.a.) is very durable. The satin finish in today's clear coating is not nearly as good as old fashioned lacquer. If I can get my hands on some maybe I will go back to a matte or satin finish. Until then Im going to shine :D

I just wanted to say thank you to all the people on this Forum who have helped me get to were I am today. (you know who you are) I am going to be taking a little break from this forum due to some unwanted controversy and political ********. You can still pm me if you are interested in any of my custom work. I will check periodically.

hate to see you go. You got some crazy and differant ideas and seem to work out to some pretty cool projects. Hope to see you back.

Thanks,
Jackwagons! and Cyber-Bullies! Now Buellxb gets to look like the punk brother of BWB!
The sole reason we lost a member is b/c of out-right mean things said. Those of u that are contiunally negative, I understand where u are coming from, but really??? be the grown up and say something encouraging or just dont say anything. Very simple philosophy....
