hahaha...wait...??? That does not look right to me but I have no experience. This is a joke right? I don't care how ****** the manufacturer is, that is not only 5-10 miles. ? Does someone like taking hard left turns?

just thought id give you guys an update, my new bike is awesome! i took a 2 or 3 foot drop with it and it felt like nothing. i need to find something bigger. fox shocks are the best i have ridden. i think i freaked some people out when i came over the wall behind bigbys

and those tires look fine to me. bike tires dont have sidewall tread.

Thought about hitting the trails myself but jumped on Sara's motorcycle instead. My back is jacked up so a motorcycle was a little easier than a bike. Plus being sick doesn't help either so I am sure I would have passed out from the lack of oxygen riding my bike.

go to your local bike shop and ask to see a new Continental mountain king tire. You will see that these tires dont come with a ton of tread on them. I used these tires on one short ride and a few rides to class before I went tubless on my 29er. Figured I'd offer them here first.. I'll just go straight to ebay I suppose.

Alot of sick bikes on here, big dollars on some.I was on a tight budget and did tons of research on the web and the trails.I have what is known as the " internet bike" it is a Sette' Flite from Pricepoint.com The bike retails for about $2100 and I got it for around $1200 shipped.Small parts list would be Rock Shox Domain 318's,160mm,Rock Shox 3.1,152mm,Avid Juicy 3's with 185mm rotors,Stylo Gpx cranks,Mavic EX729 Disc rims,Kendal Nevegal tires,Easton ea50 DH bars,Easton Vice DH stem,Easton seat post. The bike gets looks becouse it is known as the web bike, but this thing is bullet proof,I'm 6'1" and weigh about 210,and I beat the **** out of this bike.My fav place to ride is Demo Forest in Santa Cruz, ytube it,take this bike off 5 to 8 foot drops and has no problem with landing,no bottoming out and holds up very well, lungs willing I can do everything that the more $$$$ bikes do and a bit more, just to prove the bike.Doesnt matter what you ride, just ride:D

So what is the point of the seat? You obviously don't use it

dont spend too much time in the saddle when your bombing down almost two miles of hills! Sucks getting up there but they ride down is fun.. it was a slippery **** show tho!

Finally added a picture of my bike, Trek 4300 Disc.

Trails? Like cross country? I have done some trails with it but unless it is converted from a single speed you wont really like the uphill ones. :D

i hope you mean trials. That is not even close to being a trail bike.

thats what i was thinking kona...i don't know if the bike will be good for either. Mostly just dirtjumping and park scenarios

I have been pedaling to work for over a month now, average four days a week, 3.3 miles each way. It took me 25 minutes the first week, but only 17.5 to get home today. It feels great. I'm 56 years old, and if the cars and stray dogs don't get me, I will live for ever!

awesome, do you have lots of traffic lights? my commute is 30-35 miles with a major interstate so its out of the question for me
