Well decided to sell my 2006 Specialized P1 dirt jumper, Looked and looked but decided I was basically wanting a 20" bike but just so use to Mt. Bikes. So after a quick sale and far price on the P1 I went down and picked up a 2011 DK Effect. Tossed on a pair of Premium Pedals and a half link chain to touch it off.

Road it a little down at the skate park and dang it is an entirely different feel, other than the obvious of the bike being smaller it rips around with the most drastic difference of a rigid fork.

So far the rigid setup is what I need to get use to as I can really feel the hits in my wrists.

Here it is down a buddies boat close to where I ride it.

Then this is the bike I sold. Gotta love EBay.

Buellchick decided to shoot some video, so I will share it, the bike is awesome in the bowl. Smooth, fast, and very agile. Now I just need to get some time on it without 50 kids at the skate park to help tailor myself to the bike or vice versa.

I have a DiamondBack WCF 2.0 MTB in the basement, but I can't tell you when I last rode it. Probably taking it on vacation this year though. May have to put slicks on it. [sad]

I have the stock Alivio on my trek 4300 disk. Would the xtr hook right up? I would like to have a better one but switching to the shram x-5s would require everything to be replaced.

Well joined a mountain bike race team here in MI called Team Troll (trolls live under bridges and we live in the lower peninsula of MI so under the bridge that connects the two pieces of the state)

Any way had to get a bike worthy of racing so I decided to pic up the exact bike I had been dreaming about but putting off. Carbon frame, hardtail, 2x10, brain Fork, Formula R1 brakes, list goes on.
