I ordered the pump on the 16th and got it on the 20th. 3000mi in less than 4 days. Wow! I'll let you guys know how things go after install. It should be done by Thursday.

My fuel pump is making a horrible noise. I have a 03 xb9r. And i am thinkin i will be gettin a new pump. For a 03 mustang. Looks good . I just joined here and i just got my first buell. And havent even road it yet. And wont for at least four months. Grrrrr.

Just wanted to update this since I found this on another forum:

Here's a prefilter that fits the oem pump:

Advanced auto parts part number FS111 (assumed to be the advanced auto parts number, not manufacturer). Manufacturer is Airtex.

Just curious because Ive always thought my pump was too loud but its been like that for 4+ years now and hasnt **** the bed so it must be okay. If this was much more quiet than Id change it.

Was just curious on how much fuel pressurr we should have as the walbro 521 is only 45 psi but the airtex e2366 is 75-90 psi. Any light on which to get? I see the airtex on ebay but looks like maybe a knock off lol

I believe airtek or airtex (spelling?).....red and white box IIRC... is what autozone carries(I've replaced a bunch of auto fuel pumps) and they've never failed me.

Alright cool. Buy what about the fuel pressure regulator?? Is there a exact replacement for that as well without buying one that requires adjustment and tuning?

I dunno man I just replaced the pump and filter I didn't touch the regulator.
