freedom of speech is fine freedom of smashing an innocent until proven guilty guys head isnt.of coure this my opinion as an american who understands our laws and how our judical system works.

That damn drunk may have said Buells suck!!!!!!

Yeah, and the cop had a Buell, and a little puppy, and the cop was upset.

Why even put crap like the original question on here? Think I'm going to feel pity for a rogue cop bully? Not likely.

I got pulled over last week. Cop was nice and civil. He reduced my ticket which was also nice and civil.

Why should that cop have to associate with goons like the one you want me to feel sorry for. Sue him, jail him, bankrupt him. As the law permits.

I've been arrested many times while drunk, and I'm sure I was mouthy but I did'nt get beat up for it. Funny thing since I quit drinking almost 4 Years ago I hav'nt had any problems with police. He's a big dude and was probably intimidating but thats still no excuse.

Whats the point about being a Bueller.(no offense to your post) He's a drunk who got beat up, maybe wrongly by the police but better him than an entire family in a minivan.--- I'd like to hear how one of us jumped from our bikes after seeing a house fire to the rescue. Or helping a distressed motorist or fellow any biker.---I'm on the edge here. I don't care if he got beat up, but I do care about drunk drivers and I want them somewhere else than on the street. Been one, and I'm glad to say I did'nt hurt anybody. I could go on,but won't, for now.

Twisted
I would fight, and die, for your freedom of speech....
As a matter of fact I attended 3 ramp ceremonies in Iraq (2 were friends)for people who did just that. I don't think anyone is telling you you can't say what your saying we're just telling you your fawked in the head for advocating totalitarian police state tactics....no due process (part of the same document as the one you're flapping your trap about) just summary judgment and punishment by a party/group who's only task is to enforce..........

So you meant what you said......I find that ironically amusing as I would bet a months salary that if you found yourself under a cops knee/boot after getting your cuffed ass slammed to the ground you would be squalling like a bitch and lawyering up faster than OJ!

There is a line between enforcement and adjudication you might want to open your eyes and see it before you toss the constitution in our faces (or rather the perts that suit you) if you can't do that then 95's flag does fit you and the world you want.

Sorry to the rest of you for the soapbox rant and including you in my rant (we/our) this kind of mentality just hits all of my buttons......

^iv also had multiple dui`s the last time was 2 in one day and didnt remember any of it.and was greatful i didnt hurt anyone.havent done it since then 1988.taking my life in my hands is one thing someone else`s life is another.

Damn 95, at least you lived long enough to wise up[up]
Never got a DUI but pulled a few stupid stunts back in the day, the last one scared me so bad I said no more!!!!! Remember snipits of the drive from Dallas to Ft. Worth..........

not saying duis are funny but i got one in a burger king drive through. 72 nova 4spd passed out at the window with the car running in gear cop beat on my window woke up startled and layed stripes for 30 ft before i stopped he asked what i was doing there i told him i was waiting for my burger he informed they had closed hours ago.oops[confused]

OH shit...............damn near spit beer on my puter
ironic huh <rotflmao>

Only funny when the only thing hurt is your pride.....
Oh, and your record:D

That cop is gay and the drunk dude pointed it out in front of the cops friends so to save face he slamed the guy on the ground. Its not the drunk guys fault the cop is gay. Im sure the other cops would have excepted him if he would have been honest from the start.

I work at the county jail southwest of Fort Worth. In Johnson County. I work there as a correctional officer so I can see things from a different point of view. I dont think anyone should pass judgement on this video. These videos dont show what truely happens in that situation. The video is out of focus and no sound. Yes the guy was in cuffs but was clearly being beligerant to the officers. You can see him turn towards the officers and since he was not in leg shackels he can still run and cause problems. In my opinion these officers clearly needed to do what they did. This man was not fully secure and could still be a problem. Dont judge until you know the full truth. And those of you that say "fuck the police" can suck my dick! You wouldnt have a problem with any law enforcement if you didnt cause problems.

bullshit, there was more than enough officers there to restrain him and it dosnt really matter what he said if you cant handle someone talking shit to you dont be a cop.two mistakes were made that night one by the drunk and one by the cop and both should go to jail since they both could have killed someone.if i remember right the officers superiors also said he was in the wrong,

"We missed the opportunity to discipline this officer under civil service guidelines," Lt. Paul Henderson said.

One group of police supervisors, after viewing the video, found that Harris did not use excessive force, according to a memo dated in January that was filed in the lawsuit. However, after Deputy Chief Kenneth Flynn and Chief Jeffrey Halstead saw the video, they found that Harris did use excessive force.

Don't do anything to get cuffed and you won't have to worry about getting your head knocked around by the police!

Jesus, some people really don't get it!?[confused]

Its called probable cause in this day and age. Been put in cuffs before for no reason on "suspicion" of having drugs in my car. I laughed as I have never touched anything but a cigar in my life. But being the only car on the road at 2am, and driving my hopped up mustang, I guess he had nothing better to do than "detain" me for an extra hour. Needless to say because of that, I question anything a LEO eludes to and never give them an inch of vocab to work with. To many people go to jail for trumped up charges forbeing polite and nice to officers. If its just a verbal, fine i'll play, but the moment youwant to search me or pry into matters beyond the scope of the reason I was pulled over for, I give bare minimum answers. Wanna search my person/vehicle or detain me....get a warrant. the moment I step outside my car, I put the keys in my car and lock it and close the doors

i agree most dont get it you can be put in cuffs for walking down the street and not having ID.if you look suspicious to someone or the wrong color in the wrong place.

Hmmmm....Looks like another chickensh*t hiding behind a badge. Hope this guy wins a lot of money. It would be nice to see the cop put in handcuffs and let this guy slam his face in the floor a few times. Punishment should fit the crime right?

Followed protocol. The drunk tried to pull away, and was placed against the wall, then he tried to pull away and kick the officer. Justified.
