Damn guys yall are killin him here

I was just messing around.

I'm a big fan of wrenching period, if you wrench on an old VDub, or a kit car, I'm in full support.

Either way you go you'll enjoy working on it. It's just a matter or cost at this point, and potential resale if you intend on getting rid of it at some point.

that k-1 in awesome prolly be good quality if it uses an accord as a base... but it looks like it comes finished can get a demo car for 89,000 it looks like

Kits are fine for me too, it's just the ones that try to pose as a major exotic car brand based on a Fiero or Mr2 or what not. K-1, Noble, Ultima GTR are great but they have unique chassis, and bodies and suspensions. I have no issue putting the Ford, Chevy any other engine in them because they were engineered that way. But to slap a body kit and Ferrari or Lamborghini badges on a car, that just pisses me off.

That K1 Attack looks pretty bad ass, may just do that, seems much easier to do as well. Thanks Sidewinder

Also on the plus side sure aficionados will know and hate it... 20 something year old college girls will not... sure this maybe childish but come on. hot girl wants to sleep with me because I have an exotic even if I know its a lie? Wouldn't be the first time I lied to get someone in bed. And its hard to feel remorseful when your getting laid

the attack has been around a while, the same company had a kit i think it was called the evoluzion for 3rd gen firebird/camaro that was pretty cool, made a 2nd gen kit for them too because of the popularity. they made the attack kit then i never heard much of them again.

still sayin cobra, or daytona coupe kit. by far. like landslide

I always liked the aggressive looks of the K1 Attack. It's got my vote. Love the suspension showing through the hood.

I would just buy a lotus esprit v8 TT awesome handling cars and fast. Well within your price range just google the exhaust sound..

The problem is he wants a car that looks exotic but that maintains like a Toyota 22R. The Lotus, Alfa Romeos, Maserati's and even Ferrari's in his working price range are too complicated or expensive for him to work on and maintain. I think he's looking at putting a little money down at a time and complete it over a few years. I don't think he's got the $50K today to plop on any completed car.

My vote goes towards the K1. It will accept an H22a VTEC Prelude engine without custom brackets, and you can find all sorts of performance parts for the engine. Its 200 hp stock, but with some forced induction you could easily make 300-350. That's a lot of power for the light Attack chassis.

+1 on the K1. The possibility of a H22 opens up a huge bag of boosting options. Solid block and bottom end. I'll stick with my V8 though :D

i think someone somewhere said cobra, or daytona coupe. i know your not thinking it, i know i am. those two vehicles are the things dreams are made of.
