yeah people throw around "dragging knee" and " dragging pegs" a lot but on the streets have seen very few people actually do it.. ive never done either and havd no chicken strips on my past bikes ( except my built vmax, not the "best" for slamming turns but nasty off the line lol)

This thread is full of sillyness. Lack of clearance on a CBR600? Yeah, ok. And OP telling us that he's 51 years old? Perhaps he meant 15?

Please stop making us laugh. Please.

Hey guys guess what..........................Blah Blah Blah Blah. Yup thats what I heard..........lol:D

Notice where he's at [up]

That's pretty crazy. Is he wearing a trash bag as a jacket?

Ghillie Suit, hopefully on top of leathers

"Snipers and hunters may wear a ghillie suit to blend into their surroundings and conceal themselves from enemies or targets. The suit gives the wearer's outline a three-dimensional breakup, rather than a linear one. When manufactured correctly, the suit will move in the wind in the same way as surrounding foliage."

In regards to the moronic guy bragging about 190 mph corners, just look at them chicken strips and you'll be able to see if he's lying. Otherwise his 190mph corner was probably a gentle curve lol.

The temptation to go out and shame this grandpa is so strong, but the risk wont ever be worth it, i enjoy riding too much, to die for a little pride. I love my torque monster, them zippy I4 might have the top end but will leave you wanting your low end. Pick your poison.

I have heard people talking about dragging pegs on here, then they put up a random hey look at my bike and they have 2" chicken strips. There are quite a few talkers on here of how great they are at "hitting some twisties".
[up][up]
everyone says my buell will out corner the i4s but most of the tire pics ive seen they either cant or dont.

I have drug the peg feelers a few times on my XB9SX. It scared the ever loving crap out of me first time it happened, I didn't know what was going on.

After that it got annoying because it would flip the pegs back from underneath my foot on certain turns. I realize now it was because I was doing it wrong. Makes me glad they were designed that way though, thank you Erik.

Dragging...helmet...

my reaction:

f**king hell take it back to the rice paddies. *turns down volume*
Is that a Guillie suit? Why are you doing that man you don't need to hang off that.... OH OH OH. Holy hell! This guy is nuts!

This thread is getting really funny; the OP opened a can of worms.

Lack of clearance on a CBR600? Yeah, ok.

To me this means one of three things....
1: lack of experience
2: doesn't ride any real corners
3: doesn't ride past 25% of the bikes potential.

If you push the both the bike's ability and your ability's, you can accomplish all sorts of stupid shit.

Dragging pegs and/or other hard parts is really not that hard to do, you didn't think racers put on rear-sets for looks did you. All is takes is poor line choice, poor body positioning and/or poor suspension set-up. I could touch the pegs on my CBR at 20-25mph in a parking lot.

I behave now and take minimal chances. Chicken strips are about ¾” front and rear, but I’ve learned a few things in 40,000+ canyon miles. (Plus a few track days) Sport bikes can’t keep up in the corners and I’m only using 1/2 - 2/3 of either mine or my bikes abilities. I will say that most the roads I ride have rather tight corners though.

Still laughing about the entire thread.

That's a lot of gizmos.....I don't like them on my truck let alone my bike. But to each their own. They work well usually...
