fishgutz, I've seen your Hawk YouTube vid and it definitely rocks! What sound level is it?
 
Don't know. Used a camera with video capture. So the audio is unfiltered. I was about as close as I could get without overloading the mic.
I still have to get a good drive by video clip under load. Great sound. Always turns heads. Thumbs up at intersections too.
 
Oops. I think it is the standard loud pipe which is the loudest he makes.
Randy, correct me if I am wrong.
Sweet sound. None of my neighbors have complained. Probably because their 2 stroke weed whackers make as much noise. And those damn leaf blowers.
 
rideboarder when I spoke with Randy he said it takes him a day to mod and i think he said shipped the day after he gets it if my memory doesnt fail me. Can't get better than that! He is awesome to deal with and will help you out with ANY q's you might have. [up] for Randy!
 
K&N. No remap. The 2009 learning ECM learned very quickly.

Only other mod is a Urban Assault seat.
 
Thanks Paulr for the thread, I'll be contacting Hawk Performance shortly. I've been wanting a second "louder" pipe laying around for good measure:D and he has awesome deals... thanks again...

I talked to him last week and he told me to send him my address for my exhaust. So I would assume he is done with his 1125 pipe design.
 
Got mine back last week & it's badass. Need to get a race ecm or mine remapped though. Well worth it i got the middle sounding 1 not the loud not the quiet, it's perfect.
 
I just sent out two mufflers to Randy! I'm getting excited to see and hear the magic of a Hawk exhaust!

The other pipe i sent to him is in rough shape so i just made a donation to the research or whatever! :)

has anyone talked to randy in the passed couple days? ive talked with him a couple of time and sent him my muffler but havent heard back from him and that was 4 days ago. i could tell he is a stand up guy so he wouldnt be doing anything shady just kinda wanna get back on the bike.
 
Nope 03' XB9R. & Dcboos the UPS sometimes takes a bit. I'm sure yours will be on it's way.
 
I spoke with him today to verify his address and let him know i'm sending it out. He told me he was working on one when i called him! :)

Did you get tracking information and all of that when you shipped it out? Its helpful to get that and just check the progress of things.
 
yeah i checked to tracking number delivered to the porch on wednesday. im not trying to be pushy. just havent been able to reach him. hes way to nice too nice of a guy to be pushy with lol hes chopping the cheese grader for free [up]
