@paulr, you posted this on Mar 10.

Okay youll heres the rundown, called Randy earlier today and he told me he doesnt have a pipe just yet for the 1125s because he doesnt have a pipe to practice on. i just got my HR1 in two days ago so im gona contribute to the nation by sending the pipe off friday when i get paid. He said hed get to work on it asap so all the 1125 guys out there lookout, he'll have a new exhaust out soon.
[confused]

does anyone know if there is any kind of baffling put back inside the Hawk pipe? Thanks. I love my Hawk but to get it inspected here in NY we have to have some sort of baffle. Whether they just look in the end of the pipe or actually jam something in the end I have no idea but I need to get mine inspected soon.

If they look into the pipe, they will think it's "gutted." Randy does use baffling, but it's done at the front chamber of the muffler. You may want to ask him about his more quiet versions as they may be different...

Remove the front pulley cover to access the strap bolts with a long extension on a ratchet.

Remove the chin fairing.

Loosen the front clamp and strap.

It should come right off. If not you can use a rubber mallet to "persuade"it a bit. :D

I know I was! Now, to save up for the Hawker...
That's the method but having custom maps for a 9 or 12 "with" Hawk exhaust is what he probably needs. Every pipe has different flow characteristics and no map will cover them all.

Just sent mine to Randy today. I can't wait until I get it back. At least I can still ride, I found one on craigslist cheap.
