That's the method but having custom maps for a 9 or 12 "with" Hawk exhaust is what he probably needs. Every pipe has different flow characteristics and no map will cover them all.

Just got mine installed. Got a XB9 can for my '09 XB12R. I cant seem to get the header fully seated. There is still about 1/4" to go that I cant seem to figure out.

Also, when I try to mount the chin fairing, the holes do not line up. Either I am doing something wrong, or I will need to drill and tap new holes on the support brackets. Also, when I put the chin fairing on, the top part is about 1" from the header. With the stock can, there was about 1/16" gap.

I did fire it up though... Randy, you sir are my hero!

Any tips on how to get it fully seated would be awesome!

It should just bolt right up. Not sure what to tell you on the header issue. The one I had on my 12 fit perefectly.

Your bike is how I want mine to look. I like cherrybomb plastics too...I traded my blacks for them...now I just need wheels like yours.

Cant take credit for the bike. I have done nothing to it but ride the hell out of it since i bought it 3 weeks ago. needs tlc. I got it off a guy that was going through a devorce so it sat outside for a while!!!! He did spend a lot at the rizoma store which is sweet cause their parts are $$$$$! there is a thread on here showing how to anodize anything if you want to check it out, i think its about 2 or 3 pages back. seems pretty simple the way he did it and looks great!!!
