Well USPS took FOREVER but I finally got the exhaust in, and HOLY SHIT that thing sounds crazy! I definitely set off my neighbors car alarm just starting the bike up hahaha. Cannot wait to see what kinda stares I get tomorrow during the day light. Thanks Randy!

MuSh: Great vid. Now, the class has an assignment for you: We need a "flyby"vid. Mid revs, then on the gas as you pass. TIA.

:p

I have the same homework assignment. Really opens up under load. Scared my daughter when I hit when riding beside the Jeep.

Not exactly what you're asking for but close...I posted this several pages ago on this thread but you may have missed it?

I have a 2010xb12scg with an open airbox/K&N and looking to get a new muffler and had been planning on getting a spec-ops because of the good numbers on the dyno sheets from the muffler shootout but recently have also started looking at the Hawk mufflers.

The problem I have is I had planned on buying the EBR race ecm made for the drummer/spec-ops mufflers. I was wondering if anyone had any idea if that ecm should work for the Hawk muffler as well since they do not have a listing for a compatible ecm for it.

Thanks,
Ben

Thanks Randy I got my Hawk the other day and put it on; fired it up and let me tell ya it sounds awsome! Have not been able to ride it yet but I can't wait. Thanks again Randy your awsome man! He did my grater for free too. Stand up guy with a lot of helpful tips.

I can't wait for mine to show up too. I haven't been able to ride for a week now. (Not Randy's fault, I'm trading for a stock muffler to be sent to him.)

I know how you feel but thhe wait is worth it its been two weeks for me b/c I sent out my stock and now I have it installed the damn weather won't let up

I was happy with the stock for a while but I think I finally decided to keep an eye out for an extra exhaust to send to Randy. I would assume that the 9 and 12 are a little different in stock form. If you're gonna cut them up and weld it back together, is there any difference between the 12 and the 9 pipes that would keep a 12 from working on my 9 after you did you thing to it?

Wasn't sure if I could broaden my search, or just make sure I find a pipe that was meant for a 9.

The 12 will work but is a bit heavier since it's double-walled and has the valve in it. Let me know if you want to have a listen to one before the purchase...

Just got confirmation that my pipe made it to Randy today. SO excited to get it back and be back on the road with a little more of a rumble!!:D

Here is a start idle and rev vid of the hawk I received the other day. Will be making some drive by and acceleration clips sometime soon

I spoke with Randy (super nice guy) and he says the only difference between the 9 pipe and the 12 is the valve. So, I ended up with a 9 pipe for my 12.
