Yes go caps but i sure would like to see a rangers devils series finals and I think I'm going to go awd and get a 2012 impreza 2.0 5 speed. I'll have to buy a feeler gauge set as well.

I'll just bet the whole farm that your new exhaust is extremely loud.

There's an 1125r on base with stock headers and an FMF muffler with no dB reducer, and it's painful when he revs it. I can just imagine that yours is a real beast.

Have you already posted a video of it yet? I'll do a search. If not, I'd really like to hear what it sounds like from a distance or driving by.

BTW I think the Ford looks sick in white. It looks really nice in the sun. (there's a Ford dealer right around the corner so I can see them all lined up)

Caps havent been this good in years......like i was 10!! And have never been to the third round.
Feelers are cheap....your that far id go for it regardless of the mileage.
I'm not big on Subies either....but I'm 6'5"....VWs just fit well for me. GTI???? R32????

Got the frame off (took about 5 hours) for the first time.

Mmmm.....yea. Maybe in my life time.

Leak doesn't look to bad.
5hrs for the frame off? I could do my ss in 1.5....i was hoping it wasn't that much of a learning curve

I'm sure I'll get better at it I kinda started fumbling through and takin my time so I didn't break anything but it was allot quicker than I originally thought it would take. Putting it all back together will be a little harder but all in all very doable for someone who has never done this before. I'll be giving Brian's hd/Buell a call later today to order two valve cover gaskets and a vss, may also do the plugs but does anyone know weather they change the spark plugs during the 12,000 mile service? Or 20,000 mile service?

It'll be about $430 for everything.
$19.99 for the valve cover gasket kit (2)
$8.00 for the spark plugs (2)
$82.50 for the vss
$7.65 for the header gasket (2)
$275.00 for the updated instrument cluster (may buy later)
Total $430 (or $140 without the plugs and instrument cluster)

Exhaust should be at my door in a couple hours. Hopefully it has a set of exhaust header gaskets so I can at least put them on today. If not then Ill have to wait a couple days for Harley to get them in. Looks like I'll be rocking the blast for a couple days while it's nice out!

Exhaust is in!
Just got back from Brian's HD/Buell and ordered 2 header gaskets, 2 valve cover gasket kits, a speed sensor, and got 2 spark plugs which they had. 5-10 days eta on the parts so that is anywhere from May 22nd to 29th when they will be here.

The exhaust is so light tho ~16lbs put together It's allot lighter than just the stock muffler alone. I can't wait to hear it once everything's put together.

Next on the order list is ebr race ECM, updated instrument cluster and some amsoil

Took the valve covers off just to see if I can see anything out of the ordinary.
Here's what I saw with the rear valve cover.

On the mating surface for the gasket and on the gasket its self I saw a light brown/clear coloured film/residue that only appeared on the gasket area and around the covers bolts

I did the same for the front and there was no residue and the gasket looked brand new

Any ideas on what that could be and what caused it?

Can anyone with an 1125R or CR post a picture of their tail section so i can remember how to route the wiring harness? lol thanks!

Parts came in today, going to install everything and get Lizzy running!!

Ordered the EBR ECM just now so that should be here by the end of the week.

Got Lizzy all back together yesterday and put some gas in her and hell she sounds good! I should have the ebr ECM in a couple days and can get the full potential out of the exhaust.

EBR surprised me when I got home from work today with this little guy

And installation was easy
1) turn key on and kill switch to run do not start the bike
2) reset tps by holding throttle to wide open for one second and letting it spring back to closed and waiting one second, do this a total of three times
3) turn key off and wait at least two seconds
4) start bike and let it idle for 10 minutes.

After a week and about ~550 miles the exhaust is still amazing, my gas milage did seen to drop from two factors (more power and race map, and having fun with the throttle :D) but just cruising around at a steady speed mpg averaged 40-50 at highway speeds. Drops instantly to ~15mpg when I get on it but levels out when I pick a speed and remains normal to what it was before the exhaust and ECM. No noise issues with the police or neighbours, passed a couple cops and didn't get bothered. Tires are just reaching the 2/32nds tread wear bar so I have probably ~1,000 miles untill the center is gone. Next set will be the same Michelin Power Pure tires but going to up the rear tire to a 190/55ZR17 (sane as the 1190RS) from the stock 180/55ZR17 and front will remain the same at 120/70ZR17.
