So i'm swapping plastics on my bike, i have blue right now, and i have blue reflective rim stipes on the rims.

I'm switching to yellow plastics, and want to add some black reflective rim stripes to it. Can anybody tell me the max size/width of rim stripes i can fit on the rimes?...6mm....9mm...12mm....?....

I used the 8mm on mine....I think it was 8 anyway [confused]

WOW HOLY BALLS I love the driveway. Also looking at the background you have a second bike? What do you get this stripe from? I have the black n gold like LESLEY'S can I see a close up? :)

thanks, pretty standard driveway here in south florida. real pain to clean oil stains out of...so i just leave em lol. yes thats another bike, triumph daytona 675. i got the wheel strips on ebay. ill see if i can find one.

i am really liking the 12mm ones! those look fantastic!

Thanks for posting the pictures and advice guys [up]

Nice looking stripes. I was looking at the colored stripes that are also reflective, but wonder if they'll make all of my photos look sketchy when I use the flash?

Thanks guys [up]

its funny, i actually hate the cookie cutter neighborhoods here in florida...your house looks exactly like mine and is only 10' away...forget owning a trailer unless you have a corner lot which i turned down for a pool ive been in 5 times in 9 years...FML.

the grass is always greener, id take some Nebraska space any day! bet there roads there are probably better/more fun too?

i got the 12mm on ebay. they have 3,6,9 and 12 if i remember correctly.

yes the reflective tape looks "tron" like in photos with flash...but being that you are shooting a bike that you own that moves by your own power and will, you have no reason to shoot it when there is a need for flash ;)

the letters were colored in very carefully and tediously using a paint pen. it has to be touched up every so often which is a bitch....but i like the all american nascar feel the stripe and letters give me and being the only american sport bike around i found it kinda fitting.

big thanks to Bossonova who actually polished the lip on one set of his wheels and got the gears turning in my head. I took the cheaper route with the strips and used the tire paint to spruce it up a bit lol...overall im pretty happy with how it turned out as it sets me apart from the rest of the already very non existent buells around here.
