2010 XB12SCG on Steriods: 280mm, Twin Rotors, Projectors

All, sorry for the delay. Been busy with work and other projects and haven't checked in on the site in awhile.. I believe that is the front tire I am running (yes, it's meant as a rear tire) Thanks Eric! I like vids as well. Had to pull the new engine to have it looked at by Hammer but...

2010 XB12SCG on Steriods: 280mm, Twin Rotors, Projectors

Big thanks to Marc for getting me restarted with TunerPro. Tuning on the new engine is well underway. I must use restraint to go easy on her for the first 500 miles for proper break in, but it is a challenge as she really wants to GO! I hope to put the break in miles over the next couple...

2010 XB12SCG on Steriods: 280mm, Twin Rotors, Projectors

I chose not to run a tensioner sprocket. I cut the chain a bit short and walk it on. Snug but not too tight. Has worked well for me in the past. Yes, I believe you can run TunerPro and ECMspy but more advanced software systems utilizing wideband 02 have not been able to access the ECM due...

2010 XB12SCG on Steriods: 280mm, Twin Rotors, Projectors

New engine is in and running (kind of) and ready for tuning. I originally tuned the bike using the expert help of the Tuniversity with great results. However now that they have closed down, I have had no helpful response from the three guys who were running this business. I never thought I...

    2015 BMW R1200R Confirmed

I love the concept. I believe the production model will be drastically different however. Only complaint is how low and wide the engine sits. Definitely cornering concerns there.

    Has anyone done this?

I use standard carnauba wax on the outside of the visor and antifog spray/coating on the inside. Works well for me.

    Tuning/Support

Ditto. I'm having difficulty getting a response from Mike. He had mentioned that he was busy learning some new software.... I'd also like Marc's contact info.

Most Liked Exhaust Your Honest Opinion

Would like to try a Micron purely for dyno results on my new engine. But am very happy with my current D&D.

2010 XB12SCG on Steriods: 280mm, Twin Rotors, Projectors

I don't recall the cost off hand but remember that it was not cheap. I would call them and check in to ensure they received it and have it in line for modification. If I remember correctly, it was 4-5wks total till delivery.

    "Custom"

That's more of a "rad rod" IMO. Custom just doesn't seem the right word to described this one lol.

    "Custom"

Thx for the props bro. The dual rotors are complete, it's the caliper I haven't gotten to yet. My bike is still town down to the bare frame from the engine build. First order of business when I return from my deployment is to reassemble the bike and get it dyno'd. The caliper is still in the...

    Hammer Performance Cams in XB9

Sadly I did not. I did all the tuning via Max@Tuniversity (laptop in backpack). I'm sure with my super tall gearing and 280 rear, the numbers were 8-10 less than an otherwise stock bike. This time around I will be doing dyno time. Really hoping to see over 100rwtq and 125+rwhp after all said...
