    worked on a few blasts when i was at the harley shop, what you are looking at will not help a blast. they were used as trainer course bike for new riders and have been replaced. they can take a beating if you keep the nuts and bolts tighten and the oil changed, but you are not gonna get any...

    Misfire under acceleration

    have the same problem now and then, always seems to be the other end of the ground cable was loose. well cant say i had the fan issue. there is a number of other things to check. just sit down with your bike and go over everything see what ya see ys know.

    what we have here is trigger happy wrench hand. if it was my buell and it isnt of course and i could get it running by blocking the exhaust, the first thing i would check is for an exhaust leak at the headers, or maybe for a hole in the bottom of the muffler. imo only the compression is low...

    dam just realized i never updated. the weld is holding just fine. didnt quite get the angle of the peg totally straight i think cause i works but kinda feels a bit off under the foot. but ill take it and ride on for now. anyone who has to do this repair in the future i suggest a tig welder...
