My 1125 pipe was a "donor" for this latest project. I wish him the same success with the 1125 pipes as he has had with the XB's!

X I'm running a Barker. Randy didn't have the 1125 pipes ready when I upgraded. I am however running a hawk on the XB. When I met him and picked up my XB pipe, I took him my 1125 pipe to hack on (he took it as partial payment).
 
I've read alot of the post about Randy, and man are they true! I called him yesterday and had a 30 min conversation then the call got dropped . He called me back and we talked another 30 min. He seems to be a laid back easy going dude that Really enjoys doing this stuff. Thats the kind of person i like to give my $$$ to. I just dropped off my mufler and cheesegrater at UPS heading in his direction. Can't wait to get it back ! [up]
 
I am still trying to find a helmet that doesn't resonate with my Hawkification. So I wear ear plugs rather than toning it down. My ears ring slightly all the time from abuse when I was young and foolish. (It is never a good idea to go shooting without ear plugs no matter how cool you think it makes you)
 
I can now attest personally that Randy is awesome! Talked to him on the phone today for the first time to discuss modding my muffler and he gave me so many great tips on max g out the performance of my bike. An awesome guy who truly loves what he does! Can't wait to get my muffler back and try it out myself!

If I remember right I read , (I think in this) that with a pipe mod and k&n isn't that a ecm retune isn't completely necesary because it will "relearn" and readjust to the new set up by running in closed loop? Maybe I'm making this up or whatever im just looking for someone with more experience for a reliable answer. Thanks in advance!

(For pre '08 XB's) - Normally, anything above doing either the exhaust or intake upgrade requires soemthing to be done to the ECM. You can squeak by with both mods if you flash in Race settings to your ECM. It would be rideable, just not optimal. To get full benefits, you'd need a custom tune to your setup through some datalogging.
 
Shipped my muffler to Randy 2 weeks ago and can't wait to get it back.

As everyone else said, Randy is the nicest guy you'll meet/talk to! Very cool guy and we talked on the phone for quite a long time :)
 
I got my muffler from Randy a view weeks ago, together with a race ECM, K&N+AirBoxMod and SparkPlugs from Brisk the bike runs great. It a fact that the race ECM is learning and within 5 min the ride is close to perfect. With my remapped OEM ECM is different, I had to remap it and did not get the result I want. I must admit that the former Jardin sounds better (I guess I'm used to it) but does not has the performance as the hawk muffler. thx to Randy
 
just shipped my pipe out today. Cant wait to replace my jardine and feel the power she is gona put out after i get it on. very excited and +1 on Randy being a great guy.
 
Did a remap of my ECM this WE... Amazing how Randys muffler changed the performance compared to the Jardin muffler. Again thx a lot to Randy.
