Goy mine last week its just been to hot to mess with it.Randy got the muffler and it was sent out the next day,AAA+++ for Randy.

I received my modified can from Randy last week. Turn around was excellent. I had found a used oe can so I woulndt miss any good riding days. I can say I will be the first to have a hawk muffler on an X1. Randy gave me a great deal on it for being his test subject. Can't wait to get it bolted up. I'm recovering from some injuries so it might be slow going but I am so excited to hear this baby rumble.

Thanks Randy!!!

I just got mine in today and threw it on right away. It sounds incredible. My lightning definitely seems a lot snappier and quicker than it did before and I haven't even ordered the K&N yet. It was everything I had hoped for, but somehow even better. Randy is awesome to deal with and is a great guy. He told me a bunch of tips and tricks that didn't even relate to me buying his muffler. He turned the muffler out in no time at all. The only thing I had to wait for was the delivery. I'm so glad I didn't just go with a jardine.

Hey guys, I JUST bought my first bike; its an 09 city X and im sold on this HAWK exhaust already!! AWSOME!!

Does the hawk require any fuel map changes? I'm running stock fuel maps and would like to keep it that way.

I would recommend tuning your exhaust. I have seen videos of other people that did not tune their exhaust at all and had LOTS of deceleration popping on the Hawk exhaust. I don't have ANY decel popping on mine because I had already added a bunch of fuel to the maps from the Jardine. I plan on retuning it though.

Awesome vid. I really dont think you can go wrong with either of these pipes...our bikes just sound bad ass whichever you put on them!

....And any problem with popping on decel? Mine does it and I really like it (Buell race exhaust)

Thanks! Normally that exhaust has a lot of decel popping, the reason you don't hear any in my video is because the bike is already tuned for the Jardine.

I finally got around to putting on my hawk Exhaust cranked it up and it sounded great.I started to put the chin fairing on and found out the Exhaust I had sent him some of the bolts that hold it on were stripped. No big deal. The bike sounded great so I decided to take it for a little test run through my paking lot.Little did I know my neighbor had just changed his oil about 10 feet from me.I started off slow and just when I turned I hit the oil and down I went.I got up and had a little trouble starting the bike, but it finally started and I was pissed.I gOt back on the bike and give it another go.I threw my leg over and still had oil on my shoe.DOWN AGAIN.I decided to wait till the morning to give it another go.In the morning I finally got to test it and The Hawk pipe made a nice difference on my bone stock bike.Seems to run smoother at low speeds, way better sound and The wheel comes up a little easier now.I know I should have waited for some daylight, but I could not resist. Thanks Hawk

I literally just got off the phone with Randy, and I will say he is the coolest / nicest guy to do business with. If you need an exhaust for your Buell, talk to him. He is the man.
