Caribou is the best meat I have ever had, EVER!

If I could stand the cold I would move to Alaska and eat caribou and salmon all year round.
you will never eat a meal better than one you caught and cooked yourself (except maybe the food in basic training but that's for a whole other reason)

I had Caribou for the first time at hunting camp a couple weeks back. A few of my friends drove up to Cananda for a hunt. I was shocked at how good the meat was. Really lean like Venison but with a milder and almost sweet flavor. Funny you mention the deer as I was just eating some stew last night I made with the deer my brother shot 2 weeks ago. I eat everything I hunt/fish.

I love and grew up on deer meat,& squirrel,& catfish and home grown fruit & veggies, I've never had caribou yet, send me some.. I would have to say my fav and best i tasted is of course whitetail deer and American Buffalo(bison)... i been eating lots of deer daily lately, always have deer in the freezer , 3 right now with hopes of more in the next weeks/month..and as soon as i can , when the ducks get here in good numbers, there will ducks in there too, then some maybe some squirrels but they usually get eaten same or next day. if it wasnt for mainly deer & wildgame/fish meat i probably wouldn't get to eat to much meat/protein..i dont know what i would do without deer meat !

i freakin love deer meat! just shot a 7 point the other day and can't wait to get the steaks and especially some jerky out of it!

turbosvt, I wish I could just walk in a store and get those toys, and I actually should be able to. What does "infringe" mean?

Anyway, I got my AK's optics done, now I want to wrap the stock with para-cord, and put on an AR A2 grip. And Cabela's has the Rem 700 I want on sale. Does it ever end?

Never been a huge fan of the AK for some reason. I guess it's the feel maybe [confused] Plus we had a couple break on our ANA and ANSF Soldiers occasionally, but I'd chalk it up to ignorance and poor maintenance.

They are fun to look at though. I do like your AR. [up]

Litte something from Iraq! Shot a few items

M4, M16-A2, MK1 40mm 6 Pack Grenade Launcher, 249 SAW 5.56 machine gun, MK19 Full Auto Grenade Launcher, M240 7.62 Machine Gun, 9mm Pistol, 60mm Mortar, 81mm Mortar, and a couple Hand Grenades. One gun I didnt shoot was a .50 cal

Here is a couple videos I made with shots I took while in country, All mentioned above were shot in combat and while under fire[smirk]. Also another one of me messing around in the desert

Here is about 85rds or so in a few seconds, and a full mag of 30rds in the M16, on burst. Shooting at an old ammo can, cant see it but it looked like Swiss cheese!

Went to an estate sale/auction Sunday, picked up an old 30-40 Krag Springfield, H&R .410 Tamer SS, Steyr .380, NAA Coach Gun double 12g, and a Beretta Wild Cat SS, also a Dakota Arms .357 SAA with Brass Lower frame, all for 2,400 bucks including taxes and transfer fees, all guns were immaculate.
OH yeh a .22 Marlin "Glenfield edition" rifle with scope

Yea biker, my brother and I just recieved the Terry Dyer HK51 shown in my pic yesterday. It has a registered flemmings sear installed. It's nice to live in a FREE state.

yeah, this is going to be a relatively cheap build as far as the lower (cheap price wise, not quality wise)
lower was on sale for $70 and got my lpk for ~$50
going with a BCM upper though

I know you guys are actually talking and not just messing with us, I mean I can read the words, I know they mean something...

but dang, I have no idea what you are talking about!

I try and pick up the gun mags and learn a bit but for the most part I get lost in those too.
any help as to where I can go and learn more of this foreign language you are speaking?
