Good evening all,
I'm looking for some advise on how to stop the large amount of popping I get on the overrun and de-acceleration.
I have an 09 XB12ss and fitted a Stealth exhaust and got ecmspy, tunerPro etc and managed to download my ecm. Once down loaded I adjusted the front and rear fuel maps on the lowest row, see below
By reducing the value to 10 I was advised this would stop the popping but doesn't seem to have done very much.
Anyone out there know what else I can do???
Our "sister" website is called BuellMods.com. It has almost all year/model, stock & race maps available. Signup is Free and then you'll have full access to view them. - BuellMods Download Area
I am wondering if the maps are good at the top of the main page under downloads,. I see there are custom maps, if these are good maps and I download them how do I configure them into ecmspy. Also how would I load them into the bikes ECM.
Thanks for this Buellysses! I'm sick of putting up with the dealer's sh!t when I need a reset. I don't think the bastards even did the last one but they sure were quick to charge me. Again, thanks so much. Now onward to research these cables you guys are talking about...
Go to ECMSpy.com and download version 2 of the manual - it's all in there. Also there's a DIY vid on here about flashing mapping to your ECM, but I'd recommend reading the manual first to get a "feel" for the program and how it operates.
when i try to open up ecmspy, i get an error 'tabctl32.ocx' is missing or invalid. any ideas on whats going on? windows 7 starter in a netbook if that matters.
